This is in reply to the Sept, 18th. 2022 video posted against me by Mary's Little Remnant (MLR), "Follow up on Refutation of Tera Davis".
Mary's Little Remnant (MLR) is a group of twenty or so people who believe they are the reestablished remnant of the Roman Catholic church, after lacking members for a thousand years. They feel called by God to be weapons of divine vengeance against unrepentant sinners, now and during the time of Antichrist, and Ibranyi himself believes he is one of the Two Witnesses (even though the early Church Fathers teach that the Two Witnesses spoken of in the Apocalypse will be Enoch and Elias themselves.) But Jesus came to save the world, not judge it (until the Last Judgment):
John 12:47 And if any man hear My words, and keep them not, I do not judge him: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
MLR's violent ideology is anything but Christian. It is more like Islam and Judaism, both of which seek an earthly kingdom. It's more like Talmudic Judaism, which justifies the murder of any Christian, if one can secretly get away with it. MLR perpetuates the false premise that Roman Catholicism is true, but even by Roman Catholic standards the group is schismatic and heretical. (MLR members must humble themselves, repent, and join the truly catholic Church, the Orthodox Church, Christ's Body, by receiving triple immersion Baptism.)
According to Roman Catholicism, only true Popes are head of the Church, yet MLR's leader, Richard Ibranyi, has appointed himself Head, and claims that anyone who knowingly rejects his authority is heading for hell! Therefore, according to Rome, this group is schismatic, not Roman Catholic. See this article, written by a Roman Catholic friend who saw the truth back in 2010:
"Richard Ibranyi - Gate Keeper Extraordinaire"
MLR is also heretical on many points, according to both Roman Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity:
MLR's Heresies
In addition to this, the cult-like nature of MLR becomes obvious to anyone who watches their videos. Those, realizing Rome's apostasy, and seeking a pious community devoted to truth and zeal, have unwisely entangled themselves in this group. But whoever disagrees with them, or leaves, is publicly derided, and his personal life is exposed and mocked. Their former friends became fiends. This happened to me, as is evident by MLR's video against me (which is really just a smoke-screen to hide their own schism and heresy). And it happened to a five year member of MLR, who now exposes its true nature:
The Lost Sheep of Jesus
Let those who have left (because they realize the group is not the least bit Christian) be a warning to you, dear reader. PLEASE stay away! You realize Rome fell away from the faith a thousand years ago, so pray for humility, and study early Church history and theology from an Orthodox Christian perspective. For the ancient Orthodox Bishops were Catholics, in union with the First See, the Bishop of Rome! They realized Rome had apostatized at that time; it didn't take them a thousand years to figure it out! In a nutshell, Roman Catholics have rewritten history and reinterpreted truth. We can't rely on the word of apostates.
Before this post was updated, I made the mistake of apologizing for calling MLR cult-like, because I was accused of calumny and being uncharitable. But what is really uncharitable is not warning others about MLR, and one is guilty of calumny only if he is saying things that aren't true.
Definition of Cult, Britannica on-line
cult: usually a small group devoted to a person, idea, or philosophy. The term cult is often applied to a religious movement that exists in some degree of tension with the dominant religious or cultural inclination of a society. In recent years the word cult has been most commonly used as a pejorative term for a religious group that falls outside the mainstream and, by implication, engages in questionable activities.
MLR is indeed "a very small group", "devoted to its leader" and his "unique ideas", advocating "questionable activities", demanding unquestioning obedience to its leader, not accepted by the actual Roman Catholic Church, antagonistic toward what the ancient Church actually taught and accepted, considering many early Saints and Doctors heretics, hostile toward those who disagree with or speak against them, verbally cruel and vulgar, relishing the condemnation and torture of men they judge as sinners, and having a mission of divine vengeance, with one of its mottoes being, "We kill for Christ!" I am not the first, or the last, who thinks it's correct to label MLR as cult-like. Here is a description of cult-like behavior, approved by professional psychologists:
Cult Psychology
"Cult leaders want people who will be obedient to them and their rules. They look for ways to “break” people; they want people who will work hard and long hours for little or no pay. They want “willing” slaves. Authoritarian religious cults often use members for labor trafficking. When the mind is controlled, a victim may appear happy and willing to suffer for the profit or benefit of the leader/group.
For members, happiness comes from "good" performance within the group, along with elitist thinking—believing they have the "truth" or the the best way of life. But strict obedience is required. They are manipulated by fear and guilt and may be stuck, with no way out!"
This description fits MLR well. Though the group attempts to hide behind the label of Roman Catholicism, Roman Catholicism is itself cult-like in that it forbids reading non-Catholic materials under pain of eternal damnation. It forbids even questioning Roman theology or the pope's teaching on faith or morals, thus keeping minds enslaved in heresy. And like its evil parent, MLR advocates torture and death for those who simply publicly disagree with them. MLR is the spawn of apostate Rome (which decreed the burning of heretics, the enslavement of the unbaptized, as well as the wives and children of married clergy, and approved of the murder of Orthodox in WWII Serbia, as well). But neither Christ, nor the true Church ever acted in this way. Only the false churches burned heretics, etc.
Matt. 5:44 But I say to you, Love your enemies: do good to them that hate you: and pray for them that persecute and calumniate you.
Eph. 5:2-4 ...walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath delivered Himself for us, an oblation and a sacrifice to God for an odor of sweetness. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not so much as be named among you, as becometh saints. Or obscenity, or foolish talking, or scurrility, which is to no purpose...
Merriam-Webster Dictionary
scurrility: abusive language; an offensively rude or abusive remark
scurrilous: using or given to coarse language; vulgar and evil; containing obscenities, abuse, or slander
Though MLR gives some revealing information about Rome's apostasy and sinfulness, the group's work is filled with partial truths. In my opinion, Ibranyi's "insight" comes from the the deception of a lying spirit. I think his "teachings" and "private revelations" serve to keep those who figure out Rome fell away from God, not sixty years ago, not two hundred years ago, but a thousand years ago, within the net of Roman Catholicism. But when Jesus commissioned His Apostles, He promised to remain with them until the end of the world:
Matt 28:18-20 ...All power is given to Me in heaven and in earth. Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you [plural] all days, even to the consummation of the world.
So, it is actually heretical to think there are no true Bishops (successors of the Apostles) left in the world! Rome changed, but the Bishops of the four other Patriarchates did not change! Those who can see the apostasy of Rome have an obligation to seek the faithful Bishops of the east. Yet men succumb to pride.
Orthodox Wiki, "Prelest": a state of spiritual deception; ...errors in the human judgement about spiritual matters and especially about the errors in understanding of the personal spiritual state; a spiritual illness, "a wounding of human nature by falsehood" - a man's assimilation of falsehood as truth (St. Ignatius Brianchaninov).
The true view of oneself (of own spiritual condition) is tightly connected with the passions of pride and vainglory and is distorted by these passions. The degree of prelest is the degree of such distortion, i.e. the amount of falsehood in the view of oneself and the degree of difficulty of change from the false view to the true one.
The proud man clings to his own idea of religion, though it has failed for a thousand years; he picks through that spiritual wreckage for the bits he likes; he fancies the nostalgia of a golden age that never really existed; he never bothers to consider that he might be wrong. His misplaced zeal readily picks up the sword, though Christ didn't break a bruised reed. And the proudest man, suffering from scrupulosity, thinks the whole world has been tricked, but not himself.
I Peter 5:5 God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.
Fall of the Roman See
I pray that MLR would see its errors and come to the true Faith. But until then, I pray that men stay far away from the group. The true Church has been with us all along, fulfilling the ministry of Christ.
Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me. Wherefore He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor, He hath sent Me to heal the contrite of heart, To preach deliverance to the captives, and sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised...

Not that it really matters, but here is part of my original reply to MLR's nasty video, showing they are the ones who are deceptive:
SECTIONS FROM MY 2024 POST
Was I Lying?
I sent this information to Ibranyi, though he continues to maintain I am lying, rather than there having been miscommunication. He says that I lied about sending him an e-mail before publishing my original post, not giving him the opportunity to respond. Let me bury this dead herring...
The screen shot below shows that I first e-mailed Richard with a detailed explanation of why I was not joining MLR, and that I sent it to (what I thought was) his e-mail address because I was leaving the chat. (I got no 'failure to send' notice.)

The next screen shot shows that I received Richard's reply after I sent my e-mail. Believing he had replied to me, I published my original post three days later on Aug. 30th. It wasn't until I read the written "refutation" against me, that I realized Richard's reply wasn't to my e-mail, but to the short message I sent to all the members when I exited the chat.

The third screen shot, from Sept. 8th, shows that before they published their video, MLR knew I corrected my error in neglecting to call Francis de Sales (1527-1622) an apostate. Yet, they still made the absurd accusation that "I am an apostate on this point alone". I think they are hypocrites on this point alone, emphasizing minor issues because they have no real defense.

Deceit?
Richard's other meaningless claim in the video is that I misrepresented myself to the MLR chat group, trying to appear young and pious, by sending an old photo from my '20's, in which I was wearing a veil. It's just another red herring because the group has nothing substantial to say in the video. MLR wastes everyone's time belittling the fact that I am a woman (they wish I would remain silent), trying to deflect from the fact that they have absolutely no authority themselves. I'm not the one writing sermons and trying to bind people's consciences into submission to myself. Anyway, I can easily prove my photo was accurate.
First, I was wearing a veil, not to appear pious, but because I think ladies should wear a scarf or veil all the time. The photo was taken on a Holy Day, so I thought it was appropriate to share with a group who claimed to be Catholic. (With a few exceptions, they were just a pack of nasty chuffs!) Second, the photo was a few years old, happening to be the most recent one I had on my computer (I had major surgery, and we moved, etc.). I sent the photo because it was convenient, and still an accurate representation.
Here is the photo I submitted in Aug. 2022:

June 2018, age 48
And this was taken two months after leaving the chat:

Oct. 2022, age 52
I see no difference besides being sunburned in the first photo. Ibranyi said the photo looks like I'm in my twenties. Thanks, but this is what I looked like in my twenties:

1995, age 25
(before I knew of the evils of organ donation!)
...and late 40's:

2019, age 49
And here is my recent photo:

Feb. 2024 - age 54
